These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made from Animal Designs through animaldesigns.ca. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Product and Compatibility
Animal Designs products are intended only for the applications identified on their product and compatibility pages. The purchaser is responsible for comparing the vehicle, windshield, latch, or wiring configuration with the published photos and fitment information before ordering, and for following the supplied installation instructions. Product images and descriptions are provided as accurately as possible; minor production and appearance changes may occur without reducing intended function.
Pricing, Taxes, and Payment
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes are calculated during checkout. Orders must be paid through the payment methods offered at checkout. An order is accepted when payment is authorized and Animal Designs issues an order confirmation.
Shipping
Shipping charges are displayed at checkout for the selected product and destination. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by carriers, weather, customs, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. For U.S. Smart Wiper orders, prepaid duties and import processing are shown separately at checkout. Any local taxes or other charges not collected at checkout remain the customer’s responsibility.
Returns and Warranty
Unused and uninstalled products may be returned within 30 days of delivery in accordance with our Return Policy. Smart Wiper is covered by its 1-year limited warranty. Window Silencers are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Return rights and warranty remedies are separate.
Installation and Use
Installation must be completed using the published instructions and suitable tools and practices. Do not use a damaged, modified, incorrectly wired, or improperly sealed product. Vehicle operation and windshield visibility remain the operator’s responsibility. Stop using the product and contact Animal Designs if abnormal operation or damage is observed.
Limitation and Applicable Rights
To the extent permitted by law, Animal Designs is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, labour, removal, installation, downtime, vehicle damage caused by improper installation or external faults, or use outside the product’s intended application. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
